Hakim El Khiar
Innovator, Co-Founder
Hakim El Khiar has been dealing with filtration systems for drinking water since 1996. It assembles various filters to solve various problems related to drinking water. It deals with the development, production of prototypes and industrialization of filtration systems. He developed systems for preparing drinking water in emergency situations. He specialized in the recycling of waste water from various industrial applications. His innovations have also been awarded several times by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.
He currently collaborates with the Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (NationalResearch Council of Italy), the National Institute of Chemistry, the University of Maribor, the non-profit organization Venice Lagoon Plastic Free... He also collaborated with The Ministry of Defense, various municipalities, the United Nations, NATO, Iskra, PlanetCare, Planika Kobarid Dairy, Speed Queen Germany and many others.
Grega Jesenovec
Innovator, Co-Founder
Gregor Jesenovec is a Slovenian entrepreneur, quantum physicist, and internationally recognized expert on water. With over 20 years of dedicated research in water treatment and improvement, he has become a leading innovator in the field, utilizing advanced quantum physics processes, biological enhancements, and water information technologies. His innovations, focused on enhancing water quality through filtration systems and water restructuring, are highly valued in both households and industrial applications.
Gregor is the founder of several brands and companies dedicated to the development and marketing of water improvement products. He actively participates in international projects and collaborates with global organizations and water experts, fostering knowledge exchange on a worldwide scale. The technologies he develops are sustainability-driven and eco-friendly, contributing to the reduction of chemical usage and plastic waste in the environment.
He is passionate about exploring the impact of water on health and natural processes while striving to raise public awareness about the importance of quality water for life. Beyond his professional pursuits, Gregor is deeply involved in humanitarian projects. A portion of the revenue from his product sales is allocated to charitable organizations, promoting social responsibility and improving living conditions for communities.
Lea Grlj
Co-Founder
Lea Grlj is a Slovenian entrepreneur, innovator, and expert in green technologies, water technologies, and irrigation systems. She is a co-founder of the Nattura project and an established figure in the field of water quality improvement, utilizing cutting-edge innovations. Her work has received numerous national and international accolades, including awards from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, a recognition at the Water Innovation Awards in Brussels, and the prestigious Gold Award for the Hyper Filter product in 2024.
Lea's expertise extends to the design, execution, and maintenance of irrigation systems for public and private spaces, with over 20 years of experience in family business operations. Her work involves collaborating with subcontractors, preparing public tenders, and managing projects that span business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G), and international domains​​.
As one of the first water sommeliers certified by the European Water Sommelier Association (EWSA) in Slovenia, Lea actively promotes the importance of clean, high-quality drinking water. She has been an integral part of the Bled Water Festival (BWF) since 2021, fostering awareness about sustainable water practices and co-creating new global trends​​.
Lea is committed to sustainability and circular economy principles, ensuring that her products are eco-friendly and minimally impactful on the environment. She also engages in humanitarian initiatives, demonstrating social responsibility by allocating resources to support charitable causes​​.
Her entrepreneurial skills are complemented by her mentoring roles in the tourism and hospitality sectors, where she provides guidance for renovating and managing wellness centers, hotels, and boutique accommodations. Lea has also gained recognition for her contributions to green job creation and technological innovation​​.
Khalid El Khiar
Exclusive agent in Morocco
Khalid El Khiar is the exclusive agent for WaterBio products in Morocco. He speaks fluent French, Italian and Arabic. After many years of working in Italy and gaining experience in Europe, he decided to return to his native Morocco and use his skills to improve the water shortage situation in North Africa.
Prof. dr. Milenko Roš

Milenko Roš worked at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana for over 39 years, serving for 25 years as the Head of the Laboratory for Water Chemistry, Biology, and Technology. His scientific research and professional work focus on wastewater treatment, sludge management from biological wastewater treatment plants, and chemical metrology. He is a full professor specializing in water pollution and protection.
Professor Roš has lectured at numerous institutions in Slovenia, including the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at the University of Ljubljana, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maribor, the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Nova Gorica, and the Environmental Protection College in Velenje (now the Faculty of Environmental Protection). Internationally, he has delivered lectures at Vienna Technical University (Faculty of Civil Engineering), Warsaw University of Technology (Faculty of Chemistry), and Czech Technical University (Faculty of Civil Engineering).
He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific articles published in national and international journals, books on wastewater treatment (such as Respirometry of Activated Sludge, Technomic Publishing; Biological Wastewater Treatment, GV Publishing; Wastewater Treatment, VŠVO; and Modern Wastewater Treatment Processes, Fitmedia), and textbooks and manuals for students. He has also authored or co-authored several patents in the field of wastewater treatment and sludge management.
Milenko Roš has been a long-time president of the Slovenian Society for Water Protection and is currently a member of several domestic and international associations.
